Betting tips for the Masters: Xander Schauffele is ready to wear coveted Green Jacket
For golf fans, the arrival of spring means the return of the Masters at Augusta National, and Tipstrr golf expert Brendan Skilling has been weighing up who might be wearing the Green Jacket on Sunday.
An elite field of 88 golfers will harbour dreams of slipping on the famous Green Jacket at the climax of one of the most highly anticipated sports events of the year, which perhaps takes on even more significance this time round with a number of intriguing narratives forming.
World number one Scottie Scheffler is aiming to become only the fourth man to win consecutive Green Jackets, Rory McIlroy once again looks to seal the career Grand Slam that has eluded him for nine years, while the ongoing PGA Tour vs LIV Tour off-course battle moves to the fairways and greens as the rival tours' players go head to head for the first time this year.
Behind the Big three are 10 golfers in the 16/1 - 30/1 price range and of those, Cameron Young and Xander Schauffele make the most appeal.
Schauffele meanwhile has finished both second and third at Augusta in his last four starts which adds to a Major Championship record that has seen him finish in the top 10 in nine of his 18 starts.
At even bigger odds are the pair of Mito Periera and Kurt Kitayama. Periera was leading the USPGA Championship until disaster struck at the 72nd hole and has been showing some nice form on the LIV Tour including a fifth place position in last week's Orlando event.
