Adrian Meronk's peers on the DP World Tour voted him the winner of the 2023 Seve Ballesteros Award.

Meronk is the first Polish player to receive the award after winning three times last season and finishing fourth on the Race to Dubai, although he missed out on a Ryder Cup wild card.

The 30-year-old received 38 per cent of the votes, with Race to Dubai winner Rory McIlroy second, while Nicolai Hojgaard and Viktor Hovland came joint third.

Meronk said: "It feels amazing. I'm shocked to be honest, I didn't expect that.

"I'm very grateful for this award. It means a lot to me that other players appreciate my season last year. It's a great feeling."
