Planet Sport offers a few suggested bets and tips for the T20I match between the West Indies and England in Granada.
The West Indies basked in the glory of Andre Russell returning to the fold with a performance that only he could pull off after months away.
It seems that the momentum is all with the West Indies, even if they displayed a few chinks in the armour in the series opener. England appear to be hurting their chances of getting results by experimenting with the batting order.
England have never played a T20I at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium in St George's. The West Indies have won only two of the six T20Is staged at this venue, losing to Ireland (once) and South Africa (three times).
West Indies vs England second T20I: Suggested bets
The West Indies are short to win this match, and you will need to find a way to amplify the risk just a bit to get any value out of backing the hosts for victory. If you feel the West Indies are worth backing for the win, then they are likely also worth getting behind to strike more fours than England as well.
When it comes to England, one player has really been a standout on this tour, and that is Phil Salt. Salt looks the most likely of all the batters from the touring side to go big, with Jos Buttler not quite at his best right now.
Shai Hope is on an incredible run of scoring that has seen him highlight most of the West Indies' recent innings. Hope was the player of the series in the ODIs and was also the top scorer in the opening T20I, albeit with a modest 36 and by only one run.
The Grenada wicket offers something for the spinners on most days, and that should allow Rehan Ahmed and Adil Rashid to add to their wicket hauls. In the first T20I, the pacemen went wicketless even with the ball doing quite a bit when it was new.
It was unusual to see Jason Holder and Akeal Hosein open the bowling in the first T20I, and we'd expect the West Indies to abandon that and go with either Holder and Romario Shepherd or the latter and Russell. Shepherd brings the stumps into play, and if he is given the new ball, bowled is a potential winner as the method of dismissal for the first wicket to go down.
