Scotland to host European qualifying tournament for T20 World Cup

Scotland will play host to Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Jersey in a European qualifying tournament for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup this July.
The round-robin tournament in Edinburgh on July 20-28 will see Scotland, who qualified for the previous finals in Australia, and six other teams competing for two places at next year's finals in the West Indies and United States.
The 21 games will take place across nine days at the Grange and Goldenacre.
Cricket Scotland's interim head of performance, Toby Bailey, said: "This is a crucial qualifying event for us, and we're delighted to be playing in front of our home fans.
"The standard of cricket across mainland Europe has grown massively in recent years, and we'll have to be at our best to qualify for 2024."
