Australian NRL side Canberra Raiders mock Jonny Bairstow’s Ashes dismissal in savage try celebration

Canberra Raiders reenacted Jonny Bairstow's controversial Ashes stumping during Friday's NRL match.

Australian NRL side Canberra Raiders mocked England cricket star Jonny Bairstow during a try celebration on Friday.

Bairstow was at the centre of attention during last week's second Ashes Test at Lord's.
Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey stumped the England star after he stepped out of his crease, thinking the over had come to an end.
England were left fuming by the dismissal, sparking a lively debate about the laws of the game and whether the stumping was in the 'spirit of the game'.
Australian media have since labelled England as 'cry babies' with the Aussies also doing a job on the pitch, taking a 2-0 series lead.
Rugby league side Canberra Raiders joined in the mocking with the players reenacting the controversial moment during their NRL clash with St George Illawarra Dragons.
After scoring a try, the Canberra players used the corner pole as stumps and put Englishman Elliott Whitehead in the role of Bairstow.
After imitating the stumping, the Aussie players burst into celebration in what is arguably one of the best try celebrations of the season.
