KSI vs Tommy Fury tips and prediction: Professional experience to pay dividends for TNT

KSI and Tommy Fury

KSI and Tommy Fury go head-to-head this weekend at the AO Arena in Manchester in what is being billed as one of the biggest events in crossover boxing.

Back in February, Fury improved his record to 9-0 after defeating YouTuber-turned boxer Jake Paul via split decision in Saudi Arabia.

An immediate rematch between the pair was expected, though plans changed when the American shifted his attention to a bout with former UFC star Nate Diaz. Fury, on the other hand, turned his focus to KSI.

The British YouTuber last competed in the ring back in May when he squared off with Joe Fournier. KSI originally won by knockout, but the decision was later overruled and changed to a no contest due to an elbow strike from the 30-year-old Londoner.

Last July, the fight between Fury and KSI was confirmed, putting an end to months of speculation.

Bookmakers are firmly behind Fury in this one, mainly due to the 24-year-old’s experience in the ring.

The ex-Love Island star boasts an unbeaten professional record and while the level of opposition can come into question, his time in the pro-environment can only serve to his benefit.

KSI may not have the same level of experience between the ropes, though it’s fair to say he has greatly improved during his short time in the sport.

Since his rematch with Logan Paul in 2019, the Brit has gone on to beat Swarmz, Luis Alcaraz Pineda and FaZe Temperrr.

While the YouTuber has unquestionably come a long way, it’s Fury who is expected to walk away victorious.

A defeat for Fury is simply unthinkable. In fact, losing against an internet personality would put into question the future of Fury’s pro career.

The half brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has a point to prove and we’re backing him to get the job done inside five rounds.
