Tyson Fury hints at boxing retirement and new wrestling or MMA career after beating Dillian Whyte
Tyson Fury could jump into the wrestling ring after the WBC heavyweight champion hinted that his sixth-round stoppage of Dillian Whyte at Wembley may be his last in professional boxing
Fury is widely considered the best fighter in his division, after beating Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder and now British rival Dillian Whyte with a brutal uppercut at Wembley, which took his unbeaten record to 33 fights, 32 wins and a draw.
The 33-year-old hinted that maybe it was time to draw a line under his boxing career and seemingly has no interest in facing either Oleksandr Usyk, the WBA, IBF and WBO champion, or fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.
"I've given 20 years to boxing, amateur and professional," said Fury. "I've had my brains knocked about, been put down, dropped, cut, I've had tough fights, draws, wins, I've boxed all over the world.
Usyk and Joshua rematch is slated in for this summer - the unbeaten Ukrainian prevailed in their original showdown in September last year - although Fury would not offer a prediction.
