Roy Jones Jr is in ‘talks’ to train Anthony Joshua for comeback fight
Legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr has revealed that he has been in “talks” with Anthony Joshua about training the Brit ahead of his comeback.
Joshua left long-term trainer Rob McCracken before his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk to link up with Robert Garcia and Angel Fernandez.
Following that defeat, the former two-time world heavyweight champion is looking to return to the ring in the early stages of 2023.
Fights against Dillian Whyte and Deontay Wilder are said to be on the agenda for next year.
Jones Jr has now revealed that Joshua is going to come to his gym so he can "see what we do".
"He's not [looking to tie himself down], he's not," Jones told talkSPORT.

"In terms of Robert Garcia, I respect him a lot," Joshua told Sporting News.
There are not many fighters who have a better résumé than Jones Jr, as he was a four-weight world champion during his own career.
The American has turned to coaching and he has worked with Chris Eubank Jr for his recent fights.
The pair parted ways in the build-up to Eubank Jr's cancelled bout against Conor Benn, but they are now back together ahead of his fighter's clash against Liam Smith at the start of 2023.
