Karriss Artingstall enjoyed a comfortable victory as her Olympic campaign got off to a flyer. Same couldn't be said about Peter McGrail who was eliminated in his first round bout.

Peter McGrail was unable to follow in her footsteps as the Merseysider fell to a unanimous decision defeat against veteran Thai Chatchai-Decha Butdee - a boxer who also competed at London 2012 and Rio 2016.
