Leeds United have another superstar supporting the club in boxing icon

Leeds United supporters gather outside Elland Road after Leeds gain promotion to the Premier League

"Thank you Roc Nation Sports for the Leeds United jersey, does this mean I'm on the team?!"

Sir Nick Faldo and Russell Crowe are just two famous names to support Leeds United but now it appears there is another superstar to add to the list.
Sugar Ray Leonard.
Yep, you heard right. The six-division world champion sent Leeds fans into frenzy with his most recent Instagram post.

The image shows Leonard holding the white jersey with his name on the back of it.

Based on his caption, he received the soccer shirt from Roc Nation - an agency founded by Jay Z in 2008.

The company are currently working with Leeds United after agreeing a deal in November to help expand their global appeal to an American and Asian audience.

Based on Leonard's post to more than 480,000 followers, it seems to be working.

"Thank you Roc Nation Sports for the Leeds United jersey, does this mean I'm on the team?!"

"I'm not so sure I'll be a champion on the soccer field," Leonard's caption added.

While Leonard may not make the cut, it is clear that the fighting spirit is within the squad under Marcelo Bielsa, who returned to the Premier League for the first time in 18 years this season and have impressed with results on the pitch.
