KSI vs Tommy Fury ‘close’ to being agreed as John Fury lifts lid on ‘talks’ for mega-fight

KSI vs Tommy Fury should happen this summer as the fight is “close” to being agreed, according to John Fury.

John Fury has confirmed that his son - Tommy Fury - has been in talks over a crossover fight with KSI "for a while".

KSI and Fury faced off in the ring after the YouTuber-turned-boxer stopped Joe Fournier in controversial fashion at Wembley Arena last weekend.

Fury is coming off a points victory over Jake Paul and he now looks set to remain part of the influencer boxing scene for at least one more fight.

The brother of Tyson Fury is nowhere near as good a boxer as the 'Gypsy King' and he is arguably wise to pursue making his millions away from the traditional side of the sport.

Like it or not, KSI vs Fury is a huge fight that would probably pack out a stadium and do great numbers at pay-per-view.
It is a bout that makes sense for both men and John Fury thinks each fighter "want" it to happen.
"We are in talks and we've been in talks for a while," John Fury told The Metro.
"But I know KSI wants the fight, Tommy wants the fight, the fans want the fight. If they want it and we can get the deal done, we will get it done.
"We are working on it, we are close, we are just dotting a few Is and crossing a few Ts to get the contracts home and signed off.
"Tommy can be ready in four weeks, he stays in the gym keeping fit, I tell him that because these fights can happen in a blink of an eye.
"We are ready to go, it is just a matter of agreeing final terms and getting the contracts out and we're on. That is the fight I'm looking at for Tommy next."
