KSI still gunning for Jake Paul but expected to face other rivals first
KSI still has his sights firmly set on a fight with Jake Paul after destroying FaZe Temperrr at Wembley Arena on Saturday, but is planning other fights before he goes up against his great rival.
The 29-year-old flattened influencer Temperr, who had stepped in as a late subsitute for Dillon Danis, with a convincing first-round knockout - the third of his career.
"I said I wanted a KO, I said I wanted in round one and here we are baby," KSI said after the fight. "I want you guys to understand the levels. Look at what Swarmz did to Ryan Taylor.
"Look at what [Luis Alcaraz] Pineda did to that other guy who I don't know his name. And look at what I did to Temperrr. I'm on a different level and we're going again! I'm hungry, ladies and gentlemen."
Paul was straight on social media after the fight to goad his rival: "I love when KSI wins because it gives him more confidence for him to actually get in the ring with me."
After being called out by KSI, Paul sarcastically added: "I'm shivering with fear."
However, KSI's next fight could be against Joe Fournier, who was beaten by David Haye in an exhibition fight in 2021.
Fournier, Tyron Woodley and Slim Albaher are just some of the names KSI has mentioned as potential opponents.
"Joe Fournier, I want a piece of that!" KSI said. "(Tyron) Woodley, I want a piece of that. Slim (Albaher), whoever it is - I'll destroy. I need to be tested. I more tests before I reach the final level... Jake m*********ing Paul."
