Jake Paul ‘signs as an MMA fighter’; calls out UFC legend and reveals ‘two-fight deal’ offer

Jake Paul has announced that he has “signed as an MMA fighter” in the Professional Fighters League and he has called out UFC great Nate Diaz.
The Youtuber-turned-boxer is coming off an impressive win over Anderson Silva and this was comfortably his most eye-catching victory to date.
Paul looked set to fight Tommy Fury next but it now appears that Diaz is his most likely next opponent.
Diaz had a storied rivalry with Conor McGregor in the UFC and he is one of MMA's biggest stars. But he has now left the company to pursue a career in boxing.
Paul has revealed that he is willing to have an MMA bout against Diaz as part of a "two-fight deal" in 2023.
"I'm so dedicated to this that I offered Nate Diaz a two-fight deal" Paul said via his YouTube channel.
"First we box. Then six months later we fight MMA in the PFL. Nate Diaz, I am down to fight you in your own sport."

PFL is one of UFC's main competitors in the United States.
Paul has regularly butted heads with Dana White as he has hit out at him over what he deems to be a low standard of fighter rights and pay in the UFC.
The 25-year-old has also revealed details of the new PFL PPV Super Fight Division and what he will do as their "head of fighter advocacy".
"I've officially signed as an MMA fighter to the fastest-growing sports league in the world.
"The PFL, baby. The Professional Fighters League, baby. Let's go. Not only am I an MMA fighter now officially signed to an organisation but I am also a co-founder of the PFL PPV Super Fight Division.
"The big bosses got around the table. Chairman Don Davis, CEO Peter Murray, Nakisa Bidarian needs no explanation, and myself. We came together to launch the new pay-per-view super fight division.
"Now, let me explain. I will be the head of fighter advocacy. And, as the head of fighter advocacy, I'm going to use my platform to market PFL fighters and introduce them to my fans worldwide. I personally will be deeply involved in making sure that the PFL is the best place in the world for fighters.
"As you guys know, I've been trying to increase fighter pay for all fighters worldwide, and with the launch of this new PFL super fight division, our fighters will be receiving 50 per cent of the revenue. Yes, you heard that correctly. A true 50-50 partnership with fighters that still allows them to be individuals and even monetise their own sponsorship deals which as we know isn't allowed in the UFC."
