Floyd Mayweather 'surprised' after Logan Paul takes him the distance to earn a draw
"When it comes to legalised bank robbing, I'm the best. I changed my name from "Pretty Boy Floyd" to "Money Mayweather" and I started making money."
"When the money comes, we'll see who the real winner is," Floyd Mayweather said after going the distance with YouTuber Logan Paul.
Their eight-round exhibition contest at Miami's Hard Rock stadium had no winner as there were no judges scoring the bout.
Despite Mayweather not winning inside the distance, the fight will not go on his nor Paul's boxing record.
The American, 44, dominated proceedings but was unable to knock out the 26-year-old and admitted he was 'surprised' by Paul.
Mayweather, who ruled out returning as a professional to put his 50-0 record on the line, is expected to make at least $50million for the bout while Paul previously claimed he will receive $25million.
"Just going the distance was a win for him," Mayweather said at the post-fight press conference.
"I had fun. You've got to realise I'm not 21 anymore," he told Showtime Sport.
"But it's good to move around with these young guys. Test my skills. Just to have some fun.
"He's a tough, rough competitor. It was good action.
"I was surprised by him tonight. A good guy.
"Even though he doesn't have much experience, he knew how to use his weight and he knew how to tie me up tonight."
"Money" Mayweather, who said the best thing about the week was his daughter graduating, refused to rule out the possibility of Jake Paul - Logan's younger brother.
The pair engaged in a furious brawl heading into the fight after Jake Paul stole Mayweather's hat.
"Oh, we don't know what the future holds, but I'll talk it over with my team, and see where we go from there," he said.
"You've got to realise, I've been in this sport 25 years. I understand I'm not 21, I'm not 25, but I had fun tonight."
Canelo Alvarez - an opponent who Mayweather outpointed in 2014 - seemingly mocked the performance of Mayweather in a tweet.

"Nothing is impossible"
Paul was able to survive but offered very little going forward, often grappling his way out of trouble.
The social media superstar has fought just twice before - both came against KSI and he lost their rematch at professional in 2019.
"I don't want anyone to tell me anything is impossible ever again," Paul told Showtime Sport.
"The fact that I'm in here, with one of the greatest boxers of all time proves that the odds can be beaten.
"I'm 'The Maverick', I go right when they go left. I'm the unorthodox one, I'm the independent one and everyone has it in them.
"Floyd Mayweather, it was an honour.
"This is one of the greatest moments of my life.
"You never know with this guy. I'm going to go home thinking, 'Did Floyd let me survive?'
"This is the coolest thing ever. I'm happy I made it out.
"He's tough to hit, he's always tough to hit and he's not even that old.
"Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul 2? I don't know, let me get a little better. Maybe I can end it next time."
