Mayweather looks set to continue the exhibition trend by facing YouTube superstar Logan Paul later this year.

Floyd Mayweather has announced his intentions of yet another crossover fight in boxing later this year.
The former five-division world champion, who has not fought since knocking out Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018, updated fans about his next move on Instagram.

Mayweather's last professional fight was victory against Conor McGregor, which extended his unbeaten record to 50-0 - overtaking Rocky Marciano's 49-0.

However, it will not be a rematch with the Irishman. Instead, he is expected to take on YouTube superstar Logan Paul.

"Where do you guys think the fight should be? Mayweather asked his 25 million followers.

"Money" named Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Atlanta as the five leading locations to stage the event.
Mayweather is the most lucrative fighter of all-time and is the first billion dollar earner from the sport.

The American also holds the pay-per-view record for his Fight of the Century clash against Manny Pacquiao which is believed to have generated $600million.

Paul, meanwhile, is a star in his own right with more than 22 million subscribers on YouTube.

His only experience inside the ring has come against KSI, who defeated Paul via split-decision at the Staples Center in LA.

Following the huge numbers of Mike Tyson's comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr. (1.4 million sales) and the success Jake Paul - Logan's younger brother - had last weekend when he defeated Ben Askren inside the opening round. It is believed to have delivered 1.5 million sales in North America.

A showdown between Mayweather and Paul is guaranteed to do big numbers so those opposed to it, better suck it up.
