eWBSS: Mike Tyson gives Eric 'Butterbean' brutal beating to progress into semi-finals

Mike Tyson demonstrated his self-title of being ‘The Baddest Man of the Planet’ by delivering a brutal beating of Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch inside two rounds.

The pair, fighting in a simulated bout on EA Sports ‘Fight Night Champion’, saw Tyson progress into the semi-finals of the inaugural eWBSS heavyweight  tournament after landing a deadly left hook.

‘Iron’ Mike, seeded No.2, will face George Foreman or David Haye in the next round with the pair facing each other tonight in the final quarter-final at 5pm GMT.

Tyson may finally get the chance to put his hands on Foreman after revealing his only regret in boxing to RingTV. 

“I would have liked to fight George Foreman. There have been many fans who wondered who was the bigger puncher.

“I would have liked to put an end to the discussion one way or the other,” he added.

The WBSS esports version was created on Monday to cheer people up as they isolate in a bid to beat the coronavirus pandemic.
Every boxing event has been delayed with May being the earliest date of a return to action, although it looks likely to be longer.

“When I saw the draw for the ‘eWBSS Heavyweight Legends’ tournament I was thinking: Wow, that’s a horrid draw for me, I have to be on my toes against Foreman!” Haye said.

Like everyone else, real life Haye is excited about his upcoming showdown with Foreman - heavyweight's oldest world champion.
“I’m facing one of the most powerful boxers in history, I better get my tech guy to hack the computer to boost my punch resistance to give me half a chance!”
