Dalton Smith vs Jose Zepeda: Fight card, start time and where to watch the super-lightweight clash
Dalton Smith returns to action in front of his home fans this Saturday night when he takes on Jose Zepeda for the WBC silver title in Sheffield.
Smith boasts a perfect 15-0 record to his name with 11 of those victories coming by way of stoppage.
The 27-year-old added the Commonwealth super-lightweight title to his British crown with a TKO win over Sam Maxwell in his last outing.
Smith is now taking a big step forward in his career as he prepares to take on Zepeda for the WBC silver championship.
Zepeda is an experienced campaigner and boasts a 37-4 professional record with 28 of his wins coming by way of knockout.
Back in November 2022, the American challenged Regis Prograis for the WBC title but fell short in the 11th round.
Zepeda’s last outing also ended in defeat as he ended up on the wrong end of a unanimous decision against Richardson Hitchins.
Saturday’s card also features a women’s world title bout as Sandy Ryan takes on Terri Harper.
Campbell Hatton will be looking to claim his first championship in the professional ranks when he battles James Flint.
