Damian Lillard: Inventor of the NBA 'Logo Shot'
Planet Sport takes a closer look at Damian Lillard, who has made a name for himself for his long-range shooting at the Portland Trail Blazers.
When you think of Damian Lillard, one of the first things you think of is 'Logo Lillard' because of his tendency to pull up from half-court and drill deep three-pointers.
Lillard has had plenty of those classic 'Logo Lillard' moments throughout his career, including first-round playoff series clinching wins against the Houston Rockets back in 2014 and the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019.
Overall, Dame is one of the 'clutchest' players in the NBA, as he has consistently been among the top 15 scorers in crunch time since 2013.
Not only does Dame have the ability to hit half-court shots, but he can also throw down some powerful dunks and wow us with his acrobatic layups.
Simply put, Lillard has been one of the best point guards in the league for this past decade, as he was ultimately named to the NBA Top 75 Team.

In an era where player empowerment is becoming increasingly more popular, Lillard is one of the few guys who consistently expresses his desire to remain with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Although the Trail Blazers are having a nightmare season, with all the injuries and organizational drama, Lillard still wants to accomplish the one goal he's sought out to achieve ever since hearing his name being called in the 2012 NBA Draft and that is to win a championship in Portland.
However, as things currently stand, the Blazers do not have the roster that it takes to win a championship alongside Lillard at all, so if both parties are serious about moving forward together, they're going to have to really make upgrades to their roster.
If Lillard ultimately decides he wants to move on, the Philadelphia 76ers could be of intrigue to him given their recent acquisition of James Harden and with Joel Embiid already there.
Regardless of what happens in the future, Lillard is still as loyal and humble as they come, and he deserves nothing more than to win a championship in his career.
For now, the "Rip City" faithful will continue to enjoy all the "Logo Lillard" shots and explosiveness that Lillard has to offer on a nightly basis.
