Seahawks @ Cowboys tips, picks and prop bets: Seattle to end Dallas’ relentless assault on the NFL
The Seattle Seahawks will visit AT&T Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football (0115 GMT Fri).
Week 13 in the NFL kicks off with the Dallas Cowboys (8-3) welcoming the Seattle Hawks (6-5) on Thursday Night Football.
We made the mistake of going against the Cowboys as they made light work of a double-digit spread against the Commanders.
That emphatic win means they’ve now outscored teams by a whopping 145 points en route to a perfect 5-0 home record.
The visiting Seahawks are a more battle-hardened bunch than Dallas’ most recent victims here, though.
They’re clinging on to their winning record after losing three of four and could do with a big performance to steady the ship.
You could argue the spread is undervaluing what the Seahawks can do, but Geno Smith was uncomfortable last week and now faces an elite pass rush.
Meanwhile, Dak Prescott has thrown 23 touchdown passes this season, the second-best tally in the NFL, but he is 0-3 against Seattle.
It’s a tough sell to ask you to back the Seahawks considering the Cowboys just became the first team in NFL history to win five straight at home by 20+ points.
On the other hand, even in defeat the Seahawks only shipped 17 points in two of those games, and they’ve held Dallas to 12 in their previous visits.
No one expects the visitors to win but their defence can keep this to single digits and Dallas is due a bad one sooner or later.
Bet: Seattle Seahawks +9
Seahawks @ Cowboys prop bets
Despite his dominance, Dak Prescott has recorded 35 or fewer pass attempts in four of five home games.
Prop: Dak Prescott under 36.5 passing attempts
Geno Smith is averaging 230 yards per game on the road but goes up against one of the best defences in the league here.
