Stephen Moore will take over the Brumbies captaincy reins from usual skipper Ben Mowen who has been ruled out of Friday’s clash against the Lions in Johannesburg

Mowen suffered a neck injury in last week’s loss to the Bulls, forcing him to miss the Round Ten match with the wooden spoon contenders .
Dan Palmer has also been rested to recover from several niggling injuries, pushing Ben Alexander to tighthead, while Ruaidhri Murphy gets his second run-on start of the season at the other side of the scrum.
Peter Kimlin has been brought in at blindside flanker for Mowen, while lock Leon Power has been called up in the second row at the expense of Sam Carter who will start from the bench.
