According to reports, the Scarlets have set their sights on signing former All Blacks lock Jason Eaton for next season
The Welsh region have already roped in Cheetahs lock George Earle from South Africa and have made no secret of adding another overseas-based lock to their list.
Following the departures of Dominic Day, Lou Reed and Damian Welch in recent weeks, the Scarlets have expressed an interest in bringing over the 29-year-old Eaton.
Eaton, capped 15 times for New Zealand, last turned out for the current world champions against Wales in 2009.
The athletic second-row forward would bring a wealth of Super Rugby experience having been part of the Hurricanes squad for the last six years.
