London Broncos forwards Michael Robertson and Scott Wheeldon have both signed new two-year contracts which will keep them at the club until 2014
Australian Robertson moved to the Stoop from Manly Sea Eagles before the start of this season and has produced consistent performances in the pack.
“I’ve been really impressed since coming here, it’s a very professional club and I’ve enjoyed my time here so far,” he told the club’s official website.
“We may not be meeting peoples’ expectations right now but I really believe that we can kick on for the rest of the season and that will put us in good stead going forward.”
Prop Wheeldon joined the Broncos from Hull KR in May on a contract until the end of the season, but his fine form has been rewarded with an extended deal.
“I was delighted to get it signed. I’ve enjoyed playing down here, I’m playing every week and that’s what I came to do,” he said.
“The players and staff here are great, we need to finish the season strongly and we’ll go on from there.”
