McGuire has been struggling with a hamstring injury which he sustained in the build up to the St Helens match on 25 March but has been included in the Rhinos’ squad that will face the Wildcats.
The rest of Leeds’ squad remains unchanged from their win over London Broncos on Monday with Richard Moore, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Kallum Watkins and Weller Hauraki all still on the sidelines with injuries.
Wakefield have made six changes to their squad after their Super League hammering against Wigan.
Vice-captain Danny Kirmond returns after recovering from a calf injury along with Dean Collis who has overcome a hamstring problem.
Matt James, who missed the matches over the Easter weekend with an injured calf is also back while Tim Smith, Ben Cockayne and Andy Raleigh all return after being rested against Wigan.
