Leeds coach Brian McDermott said his side are not in a good mood ahead of another installment of the Super League’s Magic Weekend
The Rhinos were the only unbeaten side in previous Super League Magic Weekends in Cardiff and Edinburgh but McDermott admits that his charges will have to improve on their recent poor form if they want to maintain that record at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
They are currently in eighth position on the table and head into their clash with Bradford after recent back-to-back losses.
“The mood is not good,” McDermott told Press Association Sports.
“The guys are hurting at the moment and there are not many smiles around the place.
“I’m not going to say that we have forgotten all about Monday and we’re bouncing ready to go again because right now that would be a lie.
“What we are is determined and working hard to resolve the issues that have affected us this season and prevented us from playing the type of rugby we want to produce,” he added.
