Feared Frankel in fine fettle

The Sir Henry Cecil-trained colt will be aiming for an incredible 12th straight win in the mile Group One showpiece on August 1 as he looks to extend his brilliant 100% race record so far
Grimthorpe, racing manager to Khalid Abdullah, revealed the champion horse is preparing well for the race.
“All’s well with Frankel. He’s heading for the Sussex,” he said.
Meanwhile, Grimthorpe believes Sea Moon will bounce back from his defeat in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes over the weekend.
“On reflection he ran a pretty decent race and we’ll just have to contemplate the future a bit,” he added when asked about the four-year-old.
“He was beaten just under two and a half lengths. From that point of view, that’s not insurmountable as far as the future goes.”
