(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)

17:50 (Chelmsford) Lautrec

John and Thady Gosden’s Lautrec looks the pick in the It’s Never Ordinary At bet365 Novice Stakes over 10 furlongs.

The Juddmonte-owned three-year-old is one of only a handful of entrants to have taken to the track already, winning a one-mile maiden on the all-weather at Newcastle in November.

The Kingman colt has an eyecatching pedigree, too, as he is out of the Group-winning mare Cabaret, making him a half-brother to a 2000 Guineas winner in Magna Grecia and a multiple Group One champion in the brilliant St Mark’s Basilica.

The trip will suit, judged on what he did last time, and it is interesting he has a Dante entry.

19:30 (Chelmsford) Pandora's Gift

Pandora’s Gift can strike at Listed level in the Chelmer Fillies’ Stakes.

The Stuart Williams-trained daughter of Churchill has barely put a foot wrong in four starts on the all-weather so far, finishing second on debut at Chelmsford before returning to win at the track by four lengths in December.

Both runs were over six furlongs, giving her course and distance form, and since then she has triumphed twice more in good style at both Southwell and Lingfield.

That form points to her being ready for this step up in grade, especially as there have been several subsequent winners behind her.

20:00 (Chelmsford) Laoisman

The improving Laoisman took his record to two-from-two on the all weather with a smooth reappearance victory at Wolverhampton.

This progressive Night Of Thunder gelding can complete a four-timer in the Each Way Extra At Bet365 Handicap.

Previous course and distance winner Dubai Station went down by a neck over 5f at Yarmouth and could give a bold sight up 1lb.

Regal Envoy needs a close look on first outing since finishing a neck runner-up tackling 5f here in November.

Sir Oliver requires a market check now back on his last winning mark.

21:00 (Chelmsford) Amroon

Amroon shaped well when second at Wolverhampton following three months off. The previous Marco Botti-trained course winner could take a step forward for that outing.

Cogsworth was denied a neck over 6f here recently and may get involved up 1lb.

Ocean Bliss shaped as though the drop back to seven furlong would suit when fading into fourth at Windsor (1m) last time.

Little White Dove is of interest climbing in distance on handicap debut.
