Tullo: Narrow lead
The Chilean carded five birdies and just one bogey to take his total to 12 under par, one shot clear of Craig Lee and Peter Uihlein.
It’s not the first time Tullo has led a European Tour event heading into the final round, but he’ll be hoping to do better than when he crashed to 27th place with a closing 77 at the Tshwane Open earlier this year.
Uihlein, a former US amateur champion, passed him with a 69 on that day, and he’ll be hoping to do the same on Sunday, perhaps with a maiden Tour victory to show for it as well.
He isn’t the only one looking to secure his first win in Europe, however - both Lee and Tullo are chasing the same milestone.
Sweden’s Jarmo Sandelin is tied for fourth, four shots back, alongside Danish youngster Morten Orum Madsen.
Jose-Filipe Lima is two shots back in a tie for sixth alongside Daniel Im, and he will carry the home hopes into Sunday’s final round.
