Sheridan: We can bounce back

Chesterfield boss John Sheridan is targeting an instant return to League One

Naturally, everybody associated with the club “is feeling flat” after the Spireites were relegated to the fourth tier of English football following a 3-2 defeat to Yeovil last weekend.

Sheridanis refusing to dwell on the disappointment, choosing instead to focus on the challenge of guiding the club back to League One at the first time of asking.

“If I’m here, it’s important that we bounce straight back and hit the ground running next season,” he told the Derbyshire Times.

“Everybody is feeling flat but we will work hard and must make sure that we bounce straight back.”
