New Kaizer Chiefs signing Siyabonga Nkosi says he has unfinished business with the Soweto giants
Nkosi: Back with Chiefs
Nkosi, who shone for Amakhosi in the 2006/07 season, has returned to the club on a two-year deal from PSL rivals Golden Arrows.
And the 30-year-old is eager to reassert his worth at Naturena.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of pulling on that gold and black again,” he told Chiefs’ official website.
“I strive on challenges and also this is an opportunity to fare myself and compete with some of the best players in the country. Joining Chiefs has ignited that competitive spirit in me and I am looking forward grabbing this opportunity with both hands.
“I also should mention from the beginning that the move to Chiefs has little to do with my personal ambitions. The team comes first and I am here to serve and hopefully win trophies with the club.”
Nkosi added: “I was here the last time and I always felt that I have unfinished business here. I wanted to walk that journey again as I only spent a season the last time.
“There was a strong feeling to complete the journey I had started. As a fan I have always wanted to see the club winning the league and I am glad now that I have been given an opportunity to contribute to the success of the club.”
