The Dube Birds trail PSL leaders Orlando Pirates by two points, with victory over United their only hope of dethroning the defending champions.

Pirates, who are on course for a second straight treble, also travel to Durban for their final showing against Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Swallows, held 2-2 in the reverse tie, enter proceedings on a three-game winning streak, most recently edging Platinum Stars 2-1 with ten men at Dobsonville Stadium.

They will, however, be without the suspended Luvhengo Mungomeni following his dismissal against Dikwena.

Notably, Swallows coach Gordon Igesund is targeting a fifth PSL title with as many teams. He will hope Siyabonga Nomvethe continues his prolific form up front. The veteran striker is the league’s top marksman with 20 goals this term, prompting a recent Bafana Bafana recall.

The Team of Choice, meanwhile, aim to finish the campaign with their highest ever points tally in the top flight.

Ernst Middendorp’s outfit are 11th on the table with 34 points after a recent 1-1 draw with relegated Jomo Cosmos.

German-born Middendorp has no suspensions to contend with.
