Vlaar: Frustrated with Aston Villa
Koeman wants the transfer resolved by Monday and has warned the Premier League outfit to move quickly or the Netherlands international will stay put.
Vlaar has been in talks with new Villa boss Paul Lambert, but after an entire week there has yet to be any contact from England.
Feyenoord’s technical director Martin van Geel has made it clear they are unhappy with the Villans’ nonchalant approach.
Koeman has also expressed his dismay and urged the Midlands giants, who are currently on a pre-season tour of the United States, to speed up the deal or risk losing Vlaar.
“They know what Ron costs, and yet a week later there has still been no contact,” Koeman told Eredivisie Live.
“He is quite annoyed because he wants clarity. For him this is a good step, but it is taking a long time.
“It should be decided around this weekend or else he remains at Feyenoord. But I am assuming that he will leave.”
