ECB announce India tour schedule Andy Flower's posse are heading back to the sub-continent.

The number one Test nation will travel to the sub-continent for a four-Test, five-ODI and two-T20I series, spanning from November to late January 2013, with a break for Christmas.

The first Test will start on 15 November at Ahmedabad, followed by games in Mumbai, Kolkata and Nagpur. The sides will then contest T20 games on 20 and 22 December, before flying back to the UK for the festive period. The five day-night ODIs will kick off on 11 January in Rajkot.

Hugh Morris, managing director of England Cricket, said: “This will be England’s first full tour of India since 2008 and I am sure that cricket fans in both countries will be eagerly anticipating an exciting series of contests in all three formats of the game.

“ECB will also be seeking to finalise an England Performance Programme camp in India before Christmas which will help prepare members of both our Test and T20 squads.”

England will be hoping their form on the sub-continent is better than in recent years, when they lost an ODI series to India, drew a two-Test series in Sri Lanka and lost another series to Pakistan in the UAE.
